Robert Stephen Halbert, BA, FCA, Non-Executive Chairman

Steve has been Chairman of Safestyle UK since December 2013. In his role as Chairman, he is responsible for the proper operation of the the Board and its committees, compliance with the Company's code of corporate governance and, working closely with the CEO, for ensuring the business regularly reviews its strategic plans. Steve is Chairman of the Audit and Nominations Committees. In addition, Steve is Chairman of Alcumus Holdings Limited, Ocee International Limited and AIM quoted NAHL Group plc.

Stephen John Birmingham, FCA, Chief Executive Officer

Steve joined Safestyle in 1999 as Group Operation Director, becoming Managing Director of Safestyle Group Holdings in 2007 and subsequently Chief Executive Officer on the company's IPO. Steve takes overall responsibility for the business' day to day operations and oversees implementation of the Group's long and short term plans in accordance with its strategy. Steve has over 30 years experience of the replacement windows industry in senior management positions.

Michael John Robinson, FCMA, Chief Financial Officer

Mike joined Safestyle UK in 2008 and has over 30 years experience in operational finance roles in a range of manufacturing and distribution businesses.  As CFO Mike is responsible for the financial control, planning and reporting for the Group. He also has responsibility for the Group's IT function.  Mike has 20 years board level experience mainly within privately owned SMEs. He also spent 13  years with RR Donnelley, a Fortune 500 company, where he held a succession of finance and commercial roles including 3 years as UK Finance Director.


Giles Richell, BEng, Chief Operating Officer

Giles joined the Safestyle Board in February 2017 as Chief Operating Officer and is an experienced senior executive, having worked in the manufacturing, design and supplier industries during a career spanning over 25 years. He was most recently Managing Director at Eminox Limited, which is part of the larger privately owned Hexadex Group, with operations as an international Tier 1 supplier of complex emissions after-treatment systems to automotive commercial vehicle OEMs and the retrofit market. Prior to that he was Managing Director of a market leading commercial interiors supplier and also served as Managing Director of the international marketing services group St Ives PLC, between 2009 and 2012. Giles's skills and responsibilities lie in delivering growth, improving business performance and maximising manufacturing, supply chain and other operational efficiencies.

Christopher John Davies, BA (Oxon), Non-Executive Director

Chris joined the Safestyle Board in December 2013. In addition to the customary duties and responsibilities of a Non-Executive Director, he is Chairman of the Remuneration Committee. A former FTSE 250 CEO at SIG plc, Chris has extensive Board, commercial and operational experience from his successful executive career in the construction, manufacturing and support services sectors. Chris is also a Non-Executive Director of URSA Insulation S.A., Monier Braas Building Group S.A. and France Bonhomme.

Peter Richardson, MBA, Non-Executive Director

Peter joined the Safestyle Board in July 2016 as a Non-Executive Director and is a member of the Audit, Remuneration and Nominations Committees.

Peter has extensive Board level and Non-Executive Directorship experience across a number of sectors including technology and engineering, fast moving consumer goods (FMCG) and utilities. He was a Group Board Director and Chief Operating Officer at Dyson Ltd for almost 15 years, during which time the business grew from a revenue base of £40 million to more than £1 billion.

Peter's early career was spent in the sales and marketing functions of Cadbury Schweppes, Coca-Cola and Colgate Palmolive. In 2012, Peter joined Energetix Group plc, now Flowgroup plc, as Group Chief Executive Officer. Peter is currently a Non-Executive Director at Global Garden Products, a £500million revenue European enterprise, and is a Director at Explain The Market Ltd.
